Directions:I hope someone who has found the site will post some tips on finding it. We never did. Turned on Burro Creek Rd off of AZ SR 97 as indicated, but never crossed the creek or saw a camp area, even though we followed the mile markers well beyond the indicated 7.5 miles.

The directions you followed were from the 97 turnout…..you probably hit the 7 mile marker, got confused and ended up at the Nothing rock shop……….if you enter from the now abandoned Nothing Rock shop, proceed 7 miles, you’ll be at the creek……..however, you will need a 4×4 to access this area and should use google earth or other app to see the forest road access in…….
