Directions: You will have no trouble finding Gasline Road off US 95A. There is an unlocked BLM gate, just remember to secure it after you enter or leave. Just beyond the gate the road divides; bear straight ahead.
Date: April 2009
Notes: Our first stop was atop a rise about 1.6 miles in. We found multi-colored agate everywhere on both sides of the road, from tumblers to 5 and 10 pounders. Colors ranged from red to brown to steel blue with many pieces of mixed color. There was also some jasper mixed in. We drove in another 1/4 mile and again found more material than we could carry. The challenge was deciding what to take and what to leave.
