Directions: The Gem Trails map and directions are accurate, at least as far as Site C, though the ‘ruts’ are actually FS Rd 838. We did not go to Site A or B. GPS: N 32 49 30, W 108 20 03.

Notes: We found fossils on both sides of the road by climbing up and working on the exposed shelves. On the left side there seemed to be better fossils, but they were embedded in hard massive limestone, difficult to break out and rather sparse. On the other side the material was somewhat softer, sometimes even crumbly, but dense with crinoid and other fossil remains.
