Directions: The BLM road into the basin is easy to find as shown in the book. After the area indicated as Site B the road gets a little rough and then it drops down into Yuha Wash where 4WD is advised.

Notes: We didn’t find much at Site A, but the spherical concretions were scattered all along the road and wash as indicated. They might make interesting yard speciments. Within the wash there was a considerable stretch where oyster fossils were common. Many were of good size, up to 6″ or so. We also found a couple of nice selenite crystals in the area.

1-20-11 Explored Site B with some success. Found some selenite and petrfied wood specimens worth keeping. Stop along road marker 274 and check the rills and washes.
